Hey, I’m Luke.

I’m an overachiever who somehow figured out how to handle a camera. Ever since I was a kid, I’ve always occupied a space somewhere between creative and curious. I would bounce between taking a Sharpie to the living room couch and doodling whatever my mind could think up (sorry, Mom) and being nose-deep in animal encyclopedias for hours at a time. This mix of art and STEM eventually led me to photography, satisfying both the left and right sides of my brain.

Over the years, I found myself drawn to wedding photography. I love having to think on my feet while still holding a mental image of a final, cohesive vision for the entire day. It’s a balance of imagination, intention, and anticipation.

My photography approach closely follows my personality: detail-oriented but not rigid. As a photographer, I strive to be a fly on the wall—unobtrusive yet present enough to notice those unscripted moments of banter or in-between laughter. I find that these moments are often overlooked in the moment, but bring out the most emotions when reminiscing through photos.

When I’m not holding a camera in my hands, I enjoy playing badminton, drinking (too many) energy drinks, and browsing Zillow for houses I definitely can’t afford.
